Sweet 16 Months

My sweet little boy turned 16 months this past Sunday. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is looking less and less like a baby and more and more like a big boy every day. I'm so proud of the little person he is becoming. Here's what he's liking/learing right now.

All Things Random

So....here is the most random post. I've got pictures from basketball to playtime - ALL the way back to Valentine's Day!!!

Belmont basketball is over for the year. But, we sure had fun going to the games. Jacob really got into it and as usual was super cute. Here a few pics we took from the last game of the season.
On our way to the game
Go Bruins!!!!!

Did you see that play?

Getting Jared's hat
After the games we wait for Coach. Jacob thinks it's so fun to walk/try to run around on the court
As soon as he sees Coach he gets SO excited!!!!
Oh, and Coach gets excited too
Last Sunday we went to Gran and Pappy's for lunch. Jared's cousin Aaron and his girlfriend Jessica were there too. We had a good visit and Jacob enjoyed playing.
Jacob has started holding hands (it is one of the cutest things he's doing right now) and so I snapped a pic as Aaron and Jessica were leaving. I guess Jacob thought they were more fun than us! :)
Cupcakes for dessert. YUMMO!!!
playing with Aaron - not sure with what though. oh well.
4 generations of Vaughn men
don't worry....i got a good one. this one is just so classic Pappy that i had to post it
We were trying to do things to get Jacob to smile for the camera. Pap got confused and thought we were all supposed to be doing something funny. HILAR!!!!
hey Gran
The other night my mom came over for dinner while my dad was out of town. Jacob loves to play with his Mot-Mot. Here were are pushing him on his dump truck. He was lovin it.

Well, maybe a little too much. This was the meltdown he had after we stopped pushing him on the dump truck. He apparently wanted more. What a face!!!
reading his fave book right now - Raindrop Plop
playing with Papa Doc
Our neighbor, Emma turned 6 and we went to her party. They had one of those giant blow-up toys. Jacob LOVED it!!!!

We got to go over and play with our dear friends Jenny and Addy the other day. Such fun!!

Snow!!

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! WE GOT SNOW! And I love snow. It started last Friday and kept coming. We ended up getting about 4 inches at our house. Plenty to have some awesome play time. Luckily, we have a great hill in our backyard which is perfect for sledding too. Jacob got sick over the weekend, but we still managed to find some time to enjoy this special treat from God.
Our house on Saturday afternoon
Samson LOVES snow. The dog would stay out in it all day if we would let him. As soon as it started coming down he sat by the back door whimpering to go out. This was taken at about 9 am on Friday morning - it was just getting started.
Saturday morning our neighbors came over for some sled time.
This is Chad attemping to "snowboard" down the hill.
And Daren made it all the way to the bottom
I am really thankful for our neighbors. It's so great to have friends that live right next to you. We always have such a good time together.
This was Jacob's first attempt at sledding. See the sheer terror on his face. Well, it didn't last long....after a few more times he was smiling and laughing. He loved it!!

Going for a ride
Ok - so funny story. Samson grabbed the rope from Jared's hands and started pulling Jacob around in the sled. It was so funny and oh so cute. We were able to capture it on video camera too. These boys are silly!!
